I'm in the midst of a big trade on Twitter right now (not with her, I've had no complaints there but it sucks to see things go south between two people I follow) and I suspect it's going to whither on the vine due to things just not fitting right. This whole matching value type of trading is not my thing. I'm glad I've done it once (whether or not it goes through) but I'm inclined to not do it again.Nick Vossbrinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04162939001181537887noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709402326341729642.post-64241739275524074902018-10-06T22:21:39.347-07:002018-10-06T22:21:39.347-07:00I had seen a lot of her stuff on twitter and spill...I had seen a lot of her stuff on twitter and spilling over to the blogs, but I had the sense a trade with her would be difficult so I never pursued it. I did one good twitter trade (1 million cubs), started discussions with another that got weird (guy kept asking for pictures of my card room even after I told him I didn't want to). I don't think I'll do another.

Interestingly, she started following me on Twitter today. I wonder if she is reacting to this post by trying to seem more friendly to other bloggers?Bohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10955725607806692792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709402326341729642.post-46903774594220880532018-10-06T12:05:14.732-07:002018-10-06T12:05:14.732-07:00Also, I totally sympathize with you about the card...Also, I totally sympathize with you about the card being "ruined" now due to the bad experience. Whenever I see a card from the 2003-04 Topps NBA flagship, and some other sets, it brings me right back to that night I had a flood and seeing my damaged cards. I can't get those images out of my head...and that was my favorite Topps flagship as well. So many headaches, so much unnecessary frustration (a regular occurrence during my trading forum days). What I get in return is arbirtary.

(Also, I know the Twitterer involved in this whole debacle. It's the 2% that made me walk away from trading. I'd much rather go forward with care packages and zero expectations. I keep telling myself that one day I'll update my trade bait, but then stories like this one remind me that I'm better off leaving it out of date.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1709402326341729642.post-84756325791233870012018-10-06T05:08:01.212-07:002018-10-06T05:08:01.212-07:00Stuff like this is why I deleted my "Hoarding...Stuff like this is why I deleted my "Hoarding Cardboard" Twitter page just a few months after creating it. She had a thread about leaving negative feedback for a seller. I asked if she gave the seller a chance to make it right before she left the feedback. Then she blocked me. I guess I can count that as a blessing.RAZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17519699812373438878noreply@blogger.com
