Challenge accepted - hopefully you all can read my chicken scratch. Sweet cards too, I must say that I really like the look of Leaf's products. It's too bad that they're not so widely available.
Aw man, now I REALLY want to see you try it! Come on, just one quick post! Don't be scared!
Not sure how legible it is, but the seller's note says the opposing team was laughing as Dempsey and his team lined up prior to his record-setting kick. That's gotta feel good to come out on top.
I'm not sure about these handwritten posts. I kept clicking on the Tom Dempsey wikipedia link and it didn't work. :P I think I can swing a handwritten post within the next four weeks. I also accept the challenge!
I'm in but there's no guarantee you'll be able to read my handwriting. (Even print, not just cursive!) I have an interesting idea gestating in my head already. Should be up by the end of this week, will link back when I do. I don't know how to post a link in a comment though.
I wish I saw this before I published this morning. I usually write my posts up on a legal pad before I type them up so I'll try this(on one of my shorter posts). In grade school Sister Regina Rose said my penmanship looked like chicken scratch, and she was being generous.
I found reading cursive on a screen much easier on my eyes then reading type. That could just be because I'm old.

ReplyDeleteDo it!! :)
DeleteYeah, Leaf is sort of a niche card company these days. They're sort of hit-or-miss, but I'd sure love it if they got a license again.
Hey look - I wrote things! http://wrigleyrosterjenga.blogspot.com/2016/04/get-it-in-writing.html
DeleteThis would be a very bad idea for me to try. My assistant at my office would attest to that. Reading my handwriting is like learning a new language.
ReplyDeleteCool Tom Dempsey card, though. I love the fact that he was missing part of his foot but still was able to be a record-setting kicker.

Alright, you talked me into it. I tried my best to keep it legible.

Cool! Haha, yeah, I thought the "link" was a nice touch. Here's a real link. Ooh, he grew up in the San Diego area.. bonus points!

That is a cool idea. Might be hard for me as I'm always on the clock to get posts done. My daughter likes to torment me when I'm in my office.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea... but I'm way too lazy to actually do one myself. However.. It'll be fun to read everyone else's.
ReplyDeleteGavin, great idea. Challenge accepted:
