Oh, and I'd be very interested in trading for any Topps Tiffany sets.

Hundred Card Club - As explained in this post, these are like my "retired" PCs and I'm not really actively collecting these below guys anymore, and generally speaking I don't need any mainstream/flagship/common cards from them, but if you have something special, I'd likely be interested-- especially stuff like "Christmas Cards" [any card serial #'d 12/25], printing plates, autos, numbered parallels, short-print variations, rare inserts, etc. Again, please don't send me base cards or common inserts of these below guys. Trying to minimize incoming dupes and cut down on time spent sorting. The "PC" links for these guys are mostly outdated. Listed roughly in order of entering the Hundred Card Club.
Tony Gwynn (rare Gwynn stuff still appreciated, and I guess releases from the current year)
Reggie Jackson (PC)
Dave Winfield (WANTS: 2017 A&G mini)
Brian Giles (PC)
Roberto Alomar  (I really only want later-career cards of Robbie now)
Greg Maddux (PC - please don't send me any Maddux cards featured in that PC post)
Trevor Hoffman (PC)
David Ortiz
Mike Piazza (PC)
Frank Thomas
Adrian Gonzalez
 (I don't really want anymore A-Gon cards)
Jake Peavy

Ken Griffey, Jr (PC)
Rickey Henderson (still would be into later career cards [Padres, Angels, Mariners, Sox, Dodgers])
Fred McGriff (I still want non-junk McGriff cards)
Goose Gossage

Bip Roberts (PC - Always down for any Bip cards I need, but please check the PC post first.)
Benito Santiago (PC - If possible, please don't send me any cards featured in that PC post)
Gaylord Perry
Julio Franco

Ken Caminiti (I still want non-junk Caminiti cards)
Matt Kemp (PC - don't really need anymore Kemp cards)
Giancarlo Stanton (PC)
Paul Goldschmidt (Goldschmidt parallels and hits are still much appreciated)
Alex Rodriguez (PC)
Khalil Greene
Ryan Klesko
Steve Finley
Mickey Mantle
(definitely still interested in any hits or #'d cards, as well as vintage needs)
Roberto Clemente (definitely still interested in any hits or #'d cards, as well as vintage needs)
Paul Molitor (PC)
Wil Myers (PC) (Please, I beg you: no more Wil Myers cards unless hits or #'d)

Carlos Correa
Bryce Harper
Pedro Martinez

Miguel Cabrera
Adam Jones
Kris Bryant (PC)
Cal Ripken, Jr.

GUYS FROM GRANITE  - I collect any baseball players who (like myself) went to Granite Hills High School, including but not limited to: John Barnes (PC), Casey Craig (PC), Tom Fordham (PC), Brian Humphries (PC/p2), Chris Jones (white guy active in the 80s) (PC), Johnny Omahen (PC), Mike Reinbach (PC - Oh, anybody reading this in Japan, there are a bunch of Mike Reinbach Calbee cards [ カルビー ラインバック ] on Japanese auction sites such as Yahoo Japan Auctions I'd love to get!), Scott Shoemaker (PC), Shane Spencer (PC), and Travis Taijeron (PC). 2016 draftees Andrew Brown (Phillies) and Trenton Brooks (Indians). 2017 draftees Jayson Rose (Brewers) and Sean Ross (Blue Jays; didn't sign). 2018 draftee Jordan Verdon (Tigers).

Interested in any card serial-numbered 12/25 or 12/24. More about the origins of that minicollection in this post of mine. (Note that I'm not looking for otherwise Christmas-themed cards, only those with this serial numbering.)

I'm a sucker for any  glow-in-the-dark  cards. I want them all, even if I already have them. Not just baseball cards, but whatever. Check out my big list of glowing cards for an idea of what I have and what I need.

O-Pee-Chee baseball cards (1965-1992), especially guys I collect or cards that have update text on the front ("NOW WITH CUBS" etc.) or a photo that's different than the corresponding Topps version.

The Dan Walters Memorial "Players Looking Straight Up" Binder - Like the name implies, I want any card featuring a photo where the person is looking straight up into the sky. NOT admiring a home run, but more like a pop-up above the plate. Or maybe a fielder under a towering flyball. But I'm talking about really craning his neck straight up.

Cards featuring a thumbs-up photo.

Vagabond Binder - Cards of guys who played for 7+ MLB teams, with a premium placed on cards featuring teams they're not as often found on cards for. Just looking for one page for each player.

Misprinted blurry/trippy-looking cards for my "Bender Binder" project. Like where the register is off. (These are usually vintage cards [late 60s / early 70s especially] since printing technology has improved with modern cards.)

I'm working on a "We Didn't Start The Fire" Binder matching up cards to lyrics of that classic song.

I'm a Padres fan, born and raised in San Diego County... BUT,, I'm not a team collector. I have no interest in trying to collect every Padres card ever. So, generally speaking, I don't want you to dump your unwanted Padres commons on me. Chances are I either already got 'em or don't want 'em, and will have to just find someone else to dump them on. Exceptions here include anyone listed in my above player collections, plus current Padres top prospects. So like Padres prospect cards (Bowman, Pro Debut, Heritage Minors, Leaf Draft, etc) from the past couple years would be cool. I mean, if you send me a big-ass box of Padres cards, I'm sure I'll find several keepers in there, but still I don't like to encourage traders to consider me a dumping ground for Padres.

And on the topic of stuff I don't want, please note that for space/storage reasons, I try to keep my collection cards-only. That means I generally don't have much interest in things like bobbleheads, figures, magazines, or large photos. I'll make exceptions for stuff of my top favorite players, but I'd prefer you check with me first before surprising me with any non-card item because honestly I may pass on it. Sorry, but I prefer sticking to cards!

Also, while I collect cards of people named Gavin (my name), I'm taking this side collection off my wantlist, in part because I keep getting the same Gavin Floyd, Gavin Cecchini, and Gavin Escobar cards over and over, and I only really need 1 of each card, so I'd appreciate if you don't send me any more common Gavin cards. Low-numbered parallels and rare stuff like that, sure, but please no more Gavin Floyd/Cecchini/Escobar base cards.

I'd also like Padres hologram stickers from the early years of Upper Deck.

Also collect some old-timey guys with San Diego ties, such as Pete Coscarart (PC) and Gavvy Cravath.

Also openly gay professional athletes because truth and courage is awesome. Everyone should be free to be themselves as long as they ain't hurtin nobody. (I think I have enough Michael Sam cards now, though.)

Other general stuff that could catch my eye:
- Hot rookies/prospects (you know.. whoever's hyped up with collectors investors at the moment).
- Interesting refractors and other crazy-looking cards.. Any colored Bowman Chrome refractor parallels (especially 2015 Bowman, one of my favorite designs from recent years), Topps/Bowman xfractors, wave refractors (and similar stuff like that).
- Certified autograph cards, especially those signed in ink other than blue or black.
- Out-of-the-ordinary relic/memorabilia sportscards (stuff besides jersey swatches or bat chips).
- Vintage (older the better, any sport/subject).. especially cards that could fit into my Vintage Frankenset project or Topps Flagship Binder (one page per set, 1951-1980).

I also collect cards of pretty girls. I know that's subjective, but yeah, feel free to spice up a mailing to me with any lovely ladies pictured on cardboard. WWE, Benchwarmer, celebrity cards, olympic cards, etc etc etc.

I mainly collect baseball, but some other sports too:

Patrick Mahomes II, Tommy Vardell, LaDainian Tomlinson (PC), Ricky Williams, Reggie Bush, William "Refrigerator" Perry, Walter Payton, Joe Namath, Dick Butkus, Larry Csonka, Robert Smith, Brian Sipe, Joe Cardona, Jason Hanson
(Note that I used to be a San Diego Chargers fan, but they are dead to me since moving to LA. Please don't send me any Chargers cards besides maybe hits of their all-time greats.)

Tim Duncan, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Julius Erving, Dikembe Mutombo, Manute Bol, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Bill Walton, T.J. Leaf, Bol Bol, Damian Lillard, Kawhi Leonard, Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic

Mark Messier, Manon Rheaume, Jaromír Jágr

AJ Lee (PC), Sgt. Slaughter, Andre The Giant, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, John Cena, Toni Storm

Alex Morgan, Freddy Adu

Jimmie Johnson

Anything glow-in-the-dark (cards, toys, stickers, etc). 80s toys such as Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Ghostbusters, He-Man, M.A.S.K., Sectaurs, Army Ants, Rock Lords, Visionaries, Go-Bots, Bionic Six.. if you have any toys from these product lines available, I'd likely swap you some cards in trade. I also love The Simpsons, The Goonies (PC), MST3K, Pee-Wee Herman, South Park, The Sandlot (PC), Rick & Morty, most older Adult Swim shows, Game of Thrones.. cards/collectibles from any of those would be sweet. Any Howard Hughes stuff (PC). I might be interested in old comic books (older the better, any condition). I collect 1976 drummer boy quarters. I'm also a musician and am always looking to add more instruments and musical equipment. I might be interested in old Nintendo Wii or Switch video games if you got any sitting around you'd like to swap for some cards. If you're an artist, you could maybe even make a sketchcard for me.

That's about it.

Please note that due to ever-rising expense and hassle of USPS international shipping, I only trade/send within the US now. Sorry, Canadians and Europeans; nothing personal! I can possibly make an exception for a PWE trade and/or an amazing trade offer I can't refuse.. though I'll generally shy away. Sorry again.

As for my tradelist...
Just let me know of any teams/players/sets you're looking for and I'll see if I can scrounge up anything for you. Also, check the trade bait label on my blog for interesting cards I've posted about that may still be available.
I've also been trying to to get more involved with the Trading Card Database and have some "For Trade" stuff listed there, with hopefully more to be added soon. Check me out at user defgav.

Please email me with any trade offers.
