A special new era at Baseball Card Breakdown begins now!

Welp, this has been coming for a while now. I'm sure you longtime readers have seen this coming.

Giving away high-quality content in this day and age for free makes little sense. Going forward, membership to Baseball Card Breakdown will be available for $7.99 per month, or an incredible deal of only $89.95 annually. I'm sure you will agree that this is a very fair price for the dynamite content you've come to love here on the blog. Click here to sign up!

Cheapskates don't fret, a free version of this blog will still be available. In the non-paid version of the blog, you'll see a limited version of each post. You'll be able to see the backs of each featured card, though the fronts will be exclusives for paid BCB Premium Members.

Also, the free version will have many ads. Many, many ads. Each post will be like 95% ads.

There will also be additional perks for BCB Premium Members, such as a weekly feature of "I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH AN MLB PLAYER" where I recount my days as a classmate of Marcus Giles, one week at a time. Paid members will also have exclusive access to "Baseball Card Breakdown After Dark", an elite sub-blog featuring NSFW girlie cards to tantalize the mind and stimulate the senses. Also, each Christmastime, members will receive a 1/1 custom card of their favorite player photoshopped to be wearing a Santa hat. Sign up today!

Ok, no, but really this was just a dumb April Fool's joke.. don't delete me, I was just kidding!
But can you imagine?! Probably only somebody like Night Owl could get away with charging for his blog and still get a handful of readers to pay for it. (But thank god he would never do that!) Happy Easter and Merry April Fool's Day. Thanks for playing along.

Picked up this Juan Marichal relic in my latest COMC order for my Archives Reserve Master Set. It's pretty cool.

  1. I'm still surprised that no one has set up a Patreon for their blog yet lol.

    1. I barely blog anymore, but if I could figure out a way to fully integrate my creative writing & art with my collecting and find the focus & energy to stick with it, I would absolutely try it.
