year-end outstanding trades cleanup

Padres get Matt Kemp! Hey, that's cool with me. I hope The Buffalo is more of his "Beastman" self (sics just to upset Dodger fans), not the DL dweller he's been too often in recent memory. Because, yeah, if healthy, he could definitely help San Diego be less of a joke over the next few years. A couple more pieces and they might even contend.

Speaking of "outstanding trades"...

With the year winding down, it seems like a good time to do one of those outstanding trade cleanup posts. It's where you ask if anybody is waiting on cards from you, and you gently post a reminder for anyone you're waiting on cards from.

If you're an active trader, you know it can sometimes be tricky to keep track of all your wheelings and dealings, and sometimes things kinda slip away and get forgotten. Or cards might've gotten lost by the post office, with the sender oblivious that the cards didn't make it.

Anybody out there waiting on cards from me? Or perhaps a proposed trade stalled and you're itching for it to be rekindled? Please don't be shy to remind me.

As for me, I sent a few cards out over the summer that I haven't gotten returns for, but I think these guys are aware, they've just been really busy. So I'm not trying to bug them or "call them out" or anything, just keeping in the spirit of the outstanding trade cleanup post.

But yeah, take your time.. not trying to get on anybody's ass about it. Just a friendly reminder in case it slipped someone's mind.

I think that's it. Again, let me know if I owe you anything. And hey, why not consider making a similar post on your blog if you have one. Nice to get everything squared away going into 2015, you know?

  1. I think we are square. But there is a PWE heading your way.

    1. Nice.. thank you! I just filled a couple team bags full of Red Sox for you that I hope to get in the mail this weekend.
